10/10 APOTHECARY | Taipei Skincare & Beauty Store

Liesl and I have gotten in the habit of going window shopping straight after our weekly lunch dates. Oh, who am I kidding? By window shopping I mean getting home 2 hours later with a bag, or two, of candles and perfumes and an empty wallet. And where else would this serious shopping spree happen, than at the holy grail store of hard-to-find brands in Taipei, 10/10 APOTHECARY.

This beauty and fragrance store sells a range of luxury brands from all over the world, including scented candles and fragrances from Diptyque and Byredo. They also sell the Chanel of laundry detergents, The Laundress, which we love for keeping our cashmere pieces super-soft and clean. Other brands they carry include By Terry, Eve Lom, Elemis, Marvis… and the list goes on.

There are a few branches in Taipei, but the one we usually frequent is located in Daan District on Daan Road. It’s one of my favorite streets in Taipei, filled with beautiful boutiques, spas and cafes. 10/10 APOTHECARY is only a short stroll away from one of our favorite cafés too, One Fifteen 初衣食午, where you can relax and have champagne after (or before) a day of shopping.

We've ended up at this store countless times and hardly ever walk out empty-handed. Here are some of our favorite products we absolutely CANNOT live without. Most of our candles have burned out, but what I love about them is how these candle jars can be re-purposed and make for the prettiest storage containers. I guess another shopping trip to 10/10 APOTHECARY is in order.. I already have my wishlist ready!

10/10 APOTHECARY is the perfect place to go if you are as in love with candles and fragrances as we are and if you're on the lookout for a specific brand. I especially recommend this store, as the staff there is super friendly and helpful. Have fun, I know you will!
