I remember the first time I went back to South Africa to visit my family after living in Taiwan for a year; I wanted to take back some local treats, gifts and souvenirs, but it was so hard to think of anything other than pineapple cakes and local tea, which was what most people recommended me to take back. I wish I had known about 來好LAI HAO 台灣風格禮品店, a local gift shop that sells only "Made in Taiwan" products.

來好LAI HAO 台灣風格禮品店 is a cultural and creative gift shop selling unique souvenirs and all locally produced goods; the shop is in such a convenient location in an alley off Yongkang street, and consists of two floors jam-packed with Taiwanese goodies, gifts and trinkets that is just a little more exciting than pineapple cakes and tea. It's one of those shops where you can lose track of time while browsing, as there are so many unique things to look at; a MUST-visit if you're looking for Taiwanese souvenirs or gifts to take or send back home to friends and family.
