Nothing beats the taste and smell of that first coffee in the morning (right?!) Y’all know Liesl and I both LOOOVE lattes, and that is one of the reasons we’ve been hunting down all the best coffee shops in Taipei. Luckily for us the coffee scene in Taipei has been booming and new coffee shops keep popping up on every corner, spoiling us for choice!

FOMO COFFEE
Ever since stepping into FOMO COFFEE and trying one of their AH-mazing lattes, it’s been at the top of our list of best coffee shops in Taipei. The all-white and minimal interior, together with their black ampersand logo, create a cool and relaxing ambiance, the perfect spot to enjoy a morning latte before hitting the shops on Daan Road. The Normal
The Normal has become quite Insta-famous over the past year, and I’m not surprised! Their simple yet modern, navy blue and wood interior, creates a gorgeous space to enjoy a quick coffee on the go. They offer a range of specialty coffees, and also have a quaint little patio outside where you can sit and enjoy the morning sun. Feast your eyes on this gorgeous little coffee shop here.
Elephant Machine
Elephant Machine is a retro-styled cafe located in an alley right by the famous Yong Kang street, making it the ideal spot for a quick coffee before exploring this interesting neighborhood. They offer a quiet space with WiFi and electrical ports, which also makes it ideal for working or studying. They specialize in cold brewed coffees and also offer a range of teas and sweet treats. Coffee DPT
Coffee DPT is located in the bustling Huashan 1914 Creative Park, where people flock to over weekends to explore the unique shops, cafes, expos and watch live entertainment. Coffee DPT is tucked away from the crowds, and offers a relaxing and spacious outdoor area, surrounded by greenery, where you can enjoy your coffee and light meal. The Antipodean
The Antipodean is an Australian-inspired, third wave coffee shop located in Neihu district that offers outdoor seating (Yass!), a range of speciality coffees, and also THE best breakfast options in town. If you love avocado, this coffee shop will be a dream come true as you will be spoiled for choice with a range of breakfasts including avocado, such as the Avocado Baked Egg, Avocado Big Breakfast, Avocado & Salmon Bagel, and the list goes on!
