Tamed Fox Xinyi | Taipei Cafe

If you've been reading our blog for a while, you'll know that we are huge fans of Tamed Fox cafe. It was one of the very first blog posts we ever made, and also the place we always recommend cafe hoppers to visit when they're in Taipei and looking for a cool spot with great coffee, delicious meals, a pleasant atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Their beloved original cafe in Daan District, close to Xinyi Anhe MRT, has since closed (they'll be reopening at another spot nearby, so stay tuned), and they've also recently opened this spacious cafe in Xinyi District.

Tamed Fox Xinyi has a huge outdoor seating area (great for little ones to stretch their legs and play around), a sizeable indoor area with tables of all sizes, semi-private individual work spaces, and also a more private VIP dining area towards the back. That means plenty of seating options, and also great for group brunches and events (speaking of, my baby shower was hosted here, and it was the perfect spot for it!)

I almost always order the same thing when I go to Tamed Fox because it's just THAT good; their Smoked Salmon Avo Toast is to die for, always fresh, delicious and filling! Tieneke and I both ordered it this time, along with a latte each (I got it hot, Tieneke had it iced.) Afterwards we also feasted on one of their huge, yummy cookies! We also love the Mini Chia Greek Yogurt Bowl and wish they offered it in a bigger size, too! (*wink wink!). Speaking of things we want to see on the menu; they used to make these awesome baked donuts at their original location (and also brought it back for a day as a limited edition Mother's Day special) and it would be fab if they brought back these "out of this world" treats permanently! Tamed Fox Xinyi is a lovely spot for brunch or an afternoon coffee. Be sure to make a reservation if you're planning on going over the weekend. We highly recommend it for events, too!
