Always Bean Good (ABG Coffee) | Taipei Coffee Shop

It feels like FOREVER since Tieneke and I had a proper coffee date (our weekends look a lot different now that there's a 6 month-old and another pregnancy in the mix), so we recently decided to try out ABG Coffee, a fairly new hipster cafe in Taipei's Xinyi District. ABG Coffee is great for a quick coffee on the go (although the location is quite out of the way for me personally, but probably popular if you live in the neighborhood), and they also have plenty of seating inside for hanging out and enjoying a light snack.

I like their simple menu; you can get all the coffee classics (see the menu below). If you're hungry, they have a few light bites like croissants and toast, and for a sweet treat you can order a piece of Lemon Tart, Half Baked Cheese Tart or Affogato. We got iced Hazelnut Coffee Lattes, and also shared the Lemon Tart.

We really enjoyed our time at ABG Coffee and have zero complaints; the coffee was wonderful (and much needed for a mama with a newborn, and someone with pregnancy insomnia) and the dessert went down well. I'd go back there if the location was more convenient for me, and I'm sure they already have their regulars as it's a nice and quiet spot to hang out and enjoy a good coffee. Definitely worth a visit!
