Being a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, I’m always on the lookout for a statement piece to juice up my minimalist outfit. One particular brand that had been creeping up on my wishlist the past few years, screaming my name with their bohemian, yet stylish and feminine designs, is the one and only, CHLOÉ.

With their classic bags made of luxurious leather and suede, it’s pretty much near impossible for a shopping addict like me (and Liesl!) to resist. Ever since I laid my eyes on their bags in the classic color, "Tobacco", I'd been obsessed. I literally dragged The Husband to the CHLOÉ boutique every weekend, to drool over these beauties, and of course drop a hint (or two!). I got the surprise of my life when The Husband came home one day with the bag of my dreams, the CHLOÉ Faye small shoulder bag in "Tobacco".

The bag is made of the most beautiful and softest leather I have ever laid my eyes (and hands!) on. It has 3 sections which gives you plenty of space for all your daily necessities, and the signature ring loop adds a touch of 70’s glamour, which makes it perfect for a night out on the town. And did I mention how photogenic this bag is?!

Liesl opted for the equally beautiful, CHLOÉ Marcie small leather crossbody bag, which has a beautiful feathery gray color and is made of grained leather, which is more resistant to scratches and dirt. The bag fits Liesl’s style perfectly, and according to her it’s one of her roomiest small sized bags and fits everything she needs for a day out. The stitching on the bag makes it even more unique and also adds that bohemian look and feel to it, perfect for this year's Summer trend!

The color, shape and size of these bags are super versatile and layers well with any outfit, day or night! I know I will be wearing my Faye for years to come, and Liesl has already gotten a ton of wear out of her Marcie bag.
