20 Cozy Knits for Fall 2018

Sweater weather is here, y'all! Well, sort of... I mean, the temperature has dropped by a few degrees in Taipei, and the unbearable heat and humidity has definitely subsided. Plus, it IS already October and technically fall time, so who cares if it's actually still sunny and warm on most days, am I right?! It's time to dig out the knitwear, including cozy sweaters and cardigans!
I love shopping for new knits this time of the year, and have already been scanning the shops and Interwebs for some fresh, comfy pieces. For the past few years, we've both been trying to purchase more quality knitwear (instead of quantity), so have quite a few lovely pieces in our collections already. But, you know, there's always space for a few more...
After browsing online doing "research" for some new knits, we've decided to share with you the ones that we're obsessed with, and think would make a good addition to any closet. We've done our best to find items that are affordable, but still good quality, and mostly composed of natural fibers like cashmere, alpaca, mohair, cotton or wool. Also, it's always a good idea to buy your knitwear in neutral colors, because you'll be able to wear it for many years to come, and it's easier to mix and match with the coats and pants you already own.

I love me a good over-sized cardigan, and added this mohair and wool blend one from H&M to my closet this fall. It's very reminiscent of the popular Acne Studios Raya cardigan (but at a fraction of the price!), and is available in this gorgeous camel color, a light grey and black melange.

ASOS has a huge selection of comfortable sweaters and cardigans, and after scanning through the endless options, I have found a few that I think would be great additions to any fall wardrobe this year.

Acne Studios is known for their quality and luxurious knits. They are a total splurge, and you should keep scrolling if designer items with designer prices give you heart palpitations. However, you do get what you pay for, and they are made from the softest mohair.

Wool Winners from & Other Stories
A friend recently told me to check out the amazing sweaters from & Other Stories. I've heard about this store before, but have never ordered from them myself. I was blown away by the selection of cozy knits they have available this season, and just had to share a few of my faves.

Obviously I have a thing for over-sized knits, and I think it's because all I want to do is throw on one of these sweaters with a pair of comfy leggings, grab a book and a blanket, curl up on the couch, and call it a day.
