On Weekends, We Brunch

There’s nothing we love more than a good ol’ brunch, and when it involves free flowing sparkling wine, count us in! Recently, we headed over to The Kitchen Table at W Taipei to enjoy their popular weekend brunch with The Husbands and our friends. (You can read all about this amazing brunch here .) Of course, we had to take advantage of the beautiful interiors that W Taipei has to offer, and did our own little photo shoot in the gorgeous, newly renovated Woobar, while The Husbands bonded over a few beers at the bar.

The cool weather allowed for classic winter staples such as cashmere sweaters, plaid prints, high-waisted pants and designer leather footwear. Liesl and I both invested in a pair of iconic Gucci shoes this year, and have been waiting for the opportunity to wear these beauties (because it’s ALWAYS raining in Taipei!) and could finally sport these.

First up, you can see Liesl’s outfit of the day. She is wearing an on trend, plaid blazer she got from ASOS over a comfy sweater by Zara, and a pair of classic (and flattering!) high waisted jeans by GAP. She rounded off this elegant look with her classic Gucci black loafers (swoon!), her black vegetable-tanned leather bucket bag by MANSUR GAVRIEL, and accessorized with gold jewelry by RELIQUIA and Michi Liang.

I opted for my plaid stovepipe pants from H&M, and paired it with a cozy cashmere turtleneck by UNIQLO. I accessorized with my rose gold bracelet by Vita Fede and my go-to watch by Michael Kors. To add some casual-cool to this winter look, I wore my Gucci Ace Leather Sneakers. My trusty bohemian chic Chloe bag was the perfect addition to this casual and comfy winter outfit.
