Afternoon Tea Spring Attire

Liesl and I both LOVE Spring (well who doesn’t, right?!) Yes, obviously because of the AH-mazing weather (duh!), but also because we can finally switch from furry cashmere sweaters and scarves, to colorful floral dresses, printed play suits, denim shorts, leather sandals...I can go on and on!
With the unpredictable weather in Taipei, we’re always looking for the opportunity to wear our fun and flirty spring ensembles, and the perfect occasion arose when we recently attended an afternoon tea at the W Taipei. The weather was perfect (no rain!), we had reserved a table by the pool, and we knew we'd be sipping on pink cocktails and nibbling on cute treats the whole afternoon. So what would we wear? Easy! Florals, basket bags, and the must-have of the season: cat-eye sunglasses.
Liesl recently bought this beautiful floral dress at Zara; it's airy and light and perfect for the hot summer months of Taipei. She paired it with her adorable basket bag (which is still majorly on trend!), her timeless white sneakers by Common Projects, and stylish gold accessories by Vita Fede and Cluse, and of course, her cat-eye sunglasses by Le Specs. I opted for this playful red play suit by Faithfull the Brand, which is also made from a light material making it perfect for the hot summer months and an easy piece just to throw on. I paired it with my tan sandals from Zara, my Roundie basket bag from POSSE (Still a favorite!) , and of course, my Le Specs cat eye sunglasses. I accessorized with rose-gold accessories by Bagatiba and Vita Fede.
