Spring/Summer Wardrobe Must-Haves

I don’t know about you, but few things get me as excited as planning my wardrobe for a new season, especially for spring and summer! After months of having a cool and rainy, yet slightly weird winter in Taiwan, (hey, did we even have winter?!), I can finally say that it’s officially spring and time to switch to bright whites, straw and florals.

A Straw Hat
This year's trend is all about straw, and what better way to compliment your outfit than with a beautiful straw hat. I’ve fallen head over heals for JANESSA LEONE'S Jade Bolero hat, which is a classic straw boater, made of natural hand woven straw. I especially love the texture of the straw and the charcoal suede leather band. Swoon!

A White Shirt Dress
This must be one of the most versatile pieces I’ve laid my eyes on this year, and I can’t wait to add it to my spring AND summer wardrobes! Wear it as a tunic over your swimsuit, tuck it into a pair of jeans, or tie it up in front and wear it with a cute floral skirt for the perfect spring/summer look. Either way, it’s going to be a showstopper and I need it in my closet! I love this Linen Tunic by ZARA, it’s the perfect combination of all three: A dress, a shirt, and a tunic!

A Round Towel
Long gone are the days when we still hit the beach with our good old, rectangular towels. The latest trend making a splash are these beautiful, patterned, round towels. I’ve had my eye on the Montauk Roundie by THE BEACH PEOPLE for quite a while now, and with spring picnics and summer holidays on the horizon, I guess it’s as good a time as any.

A Round Hand Woven or Straw Bag
As I’ve mentioned earlier, straw is having a major moment in the fashion world right now, thus making it THE perfect accessory for spring and summer. The latest bag style, The Roundie, has been seen on the arms of it-girls all around the world, and I just couldn’t resist the opportunity to add this cute 70’s Roundie Bag from THE POSSE to my collection. You’ll definitely turn a few heads with this one on your arm.

A Light Denim Jacket
New season, new denim! Whether it’s a pair of jeans, shorts or a jacket, there’s always room for new denim in my closet. During the warmer months I like to switch to light denim, and what would be more perfect than a light denim jacket for layering with floral dresses and blouses?! I love the Top Denim Jacket in Light Vintage by ACNE STUDIOS. It’s a classic denim jacket and the light wash is perfect for breezy spring picnics and summer date nights.

Double-bridge Sunglasses
If you haven’t jumped onto the next trend, you should! Double-bridge sunglasses adds a bar across the top of the lenses, giving your sunglasses an extra element of style. There are quite a few styles available, but my favorite is RAY-BAN'S Clubround Double-Bridged sunglasses. It’s a mix between their classic Clubmaster and Round sunglasses, but with an added bridge, making it both classic and cool.

Espadrilles
Except for strappy sandals and white sneakers, espadrilles are one of my favorite go-tos for both spring and summer. They look effortlessly cool with a pair of jeans, or even with a cute skirt or dress. I love this pair from SOLUDOS with its embroidered winking eyes, making it an eye-catching addition to your outfit.

A Floral Fragrance
