In February 2018, we shared 10 Insta-Worthy Cafes in Taipei on our blog, and ever since then it has reigned supreme as our number one most searched for, and clicked on, post. Obviously, we aren't the only ones whom take into account how photogenic a cafe is before stopping by for a cuppa. Factors like good natural light, a beautifully designed interior, and interesting decorative pieces, are now just as important as the actual quality and taste of the food and drinks served there.
Because of the popularity of this post, and also the fact that we have since then discovered a slew of other Insta-worthy cafes in Taipei, we've decided to share 10 more Taipei cafes that we think are definitely worth visiting if you're looking to snap some beautiful pics while enjoying a delicious drink or meal.
Here are 10 (More) Insta-Worthy Cafes in Taipei you should plan on visiting.
Les Piccola definitely has that "wow factor" when you walk in! From the pic above, you can see the natural light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the unique honeycomb tile on the floor, and the green color scheme that goes so well with the trees from the park across the street. Go check out our full post on this cafe where we posted plenty more photos, and also the full menu. See it here.
Contrary to what the name suggests, Drunk Cafe 爛醉咖啡 is not some sleazy bar where people go to get smashed. (Well, actually, they do have a bar area and they do serve alcohol, but also so much more than that.) With its eclectic eighties-inspired interior and decoration, and this unique dome-like room pictured above, you'll have no shortage of pretty and interesting backgrounds for your Instagram photos. See more photos and the menu here.
If you don't pay attention while on your way to Flügel Studio, you might just miss it. Kind of hidden in a small alley close to Taipower MRT station, is this gem of a cafe. Their desserts are out of this world delicious, and highly Instagrammable, too. The space reminds me of a cozy living room, and there are plenty of little nooks and crannies to photograph. Have a look at our full post here.
KiOSK is one of those cafes in Taipei that made an Instagram splash when they opened a few years ago; not a single Instagrammer in Taipei didn't visit it to enjoy their amazing coffees and delicious light meals and to, of course, get some pretty snaps of the minimalist interior and that highly recognizable blue exterior. I'm happy to say that this cafe is still going strong, and it's a must-visit for some Insta-worthy pics. See more photos on our blog post, here.
What's more Instagrammable than a decadent and OTT-decorated "freak shake"? Plus, Meat Up has gone above and beyond to make their cafe highly Insta-worthy with creative, fun and colorful murals inside and outside. Check out our post to see their other murals which will serve as the perfect backdrops for your next Instagram pic, here.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this gorgeous cafe in Taipei! Paper & Tea 柏林選茶 is situated inside Marais 瑪黑家居選物's lifestyle store. The presentation of their drinks and bites is lovely (as you can see above) and they also have a wall of windows letting in plenty of natural light. See more photos and their menu here.
MukoBrunch definitely took Instagrammers into account when designing and decorating their cafe. It's a beautiful, and very photogenic, space. The lighting is perfect, and there are lots of cool corners to photograph. Outside, you can find two murals that are the perfect backdrops for your Insta-snaps. Have a look at our full post, here.
初訪 True from did a beautiful job when designing the interior of their cafe; it's quite minimalist, but has some pretty details and decorative pieces that gives it a highly photogenic quality. We took a lot of photos, and also posted the full menu here.
ACME Breakfast Club is quite a spacious cafe, smack-bang in the middle of the popular Ximending neighborhood of Taipei. The lighting is absolutely lovely inside the cafe, thus allowing for easy photography, and the balcony outside is highly Instagrammable. During the summer they transformed the balcony to a beach scene, complete with sand, beach chairs and umbrellas; they totally get the importance of having an Insta-worthy element to their cafe. See all of our photos here.
香色 Xiang Se had been on our list of cafes to visit for so long, and when we finally went there, we were blown away by the gorgeous space. Everywhere you turn there's a photo opportunity, and the entire restaurant is just perfectly decorated and designed for making your food pics look extra beautiful. Have a look at our full post (including the menu!) here.
