Anywhere Cafe l Taipei Cafe

We’ve recently discovered yet another gem in the city and are super excited to share it with you (We know you’ll love it, too!). Anywhere Cafe is a travel-inspired cafe that not only has Insta-worthy interiors, but serves delicious meals inspired by cities all over the world. Located a mere 5-minute walk from Xingtian Temple MRT Station on the orange line, it’s quite easy to get to and reservations are also accepted in advance.

The exterior of the cafe is quite an eye-catcher with it’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows and decorative plants sitting on the doorstep. Greens are also used as decoration inside the restaurant, and a large wall is covered in greenery, lighting up the space and creating a relaxing and fresh ambiance. Throughout the cafe you will find travel memorabilia, such as postcards, travel books and magazines, and also some souvenirs such as license plates and suitcases.

Their creative menu includes a range of street style foods from all over the world, such as British Fish and Chips, Greek Chicken Gyros, Berlin Currywurst, Spanish Omelette and more. Their beverages are also inspired by countries around the world, and even includes South African Rooibos Tea! Have a look at their travel-inspired menu below.

I can’t resist a meal that includes avocado, so opted for their San Francisco and Avocado Sourdough breakfast. It was delicious and the combination of avocado, egg and sourdough bread was exactly what I was craving. Liesl had the Parisian Traditional Breakfast; a tasty serving of french toast, egg, mushrooms and a side salad. Although Liesl and I thoroughly enjoyed these breakfasts, we both agreed that the green veg and salad on the side did not belong on this yummy breakfast plate (Don't you agree?) We also had the Belgian Waffle with Bacon & Sunny-Side Up Egg which was absolutely delicious; this was the dish of the day for us!
