Anywhere Table l Taipei Cafe

If you’ve been following our blog, you might remember our blog post about a travel-inspired cafe here in Taipei that’s known for their themed-interior and also delicious meals inspired by cities all over the world (If you missed it, read more here!) They recently added to their restaurant chain by opening a new location in Songshan District near Nanjin Sanmin MRT Station, and keeping things just as interesting and unique as their first location, with a fun theme (or two!) and also a menu filled with delicious breakfasts and street foods from around the world.

The restaurant offers quite a few seating options in different parts (and themes) of the restaurant, and upon entering you will be taken back to the 50’s in their fun Diner-style room, decorated in red furniture, neon lights, pinks walls and vintage prints. Towards the back of the restaurant they take you to an entirely different set up, with a more minimalist and natural approach, and decorations such as leafy greens and rattan furniture, and crisp white walls decorated with beautiful straw hats. Right in the center of these two areas you’ll also find a room with graffiti-covered walls, or, you could opt to sit at their beautiful (and photogenic) marble tables outside.

Making our selection for brunch was a breeze, seeing that they have two of our absolute favorite meals on the menu; acai bowls and avocado toast (Yum!). The acai bowl is served in an actual pineapple cut in half (which was almost too adorable to eat) and the avocado toast with poached egg, salmon, cherry tomatoes, rocket leaves and radish on freshly baked sourdough bread. For beverages I had a beautiful pink drink, the Rose Lemonade, and Liesl had a South African Rooibos Tea. Take note that the the restaurant requires each person to order both a meal AND a drink, and that they accept cash only.
