Liesl and I are devoted latte drinkers (I'm sure you've noticed!), so not popping into a coffee shop we stumble upon is nearly impossible. And of course, it’s an added bonus if the coffee shop looks like something from a magazine. We recently discovered yet another latte haven in Daan District, in an alley right off Zhongxiao East Road, that serves delicious (and affordable!) coffees and teas, and also a few light meals such as sandwiches and desserts.

Cafe C'est La Vie is located right behind SOGO department store, making it the perfect spot to have a break and refuel in between a fun filled day of shopping. The beautiful space is filled with wood from floor to ceiling, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for yummy hot drinks in the cooler months ahead. A glass ceiling covers the area which allows TONS of natural light, creating a picture perfect background for all your foodie pictures.
We stopped by for an afternoon treat and enjoyed a light meal along with our lattes. I had the Brown Sugar Latte (YUM!) and Liesl a Hazelnut Latte, and we also ordered their melt-in-your-mouth Lemon Tart, and the delicious Brazil Mayonnaise & Beef Plate Roll.
