Just when we thought we'd seen it all, we discovered yet another gem in Taipei (one that literally took our breath away!). Liesl and I decided to spoil ourselves and headed to the “bubble-filled ceiling” restaurant that we'd spotted on Instagram recently. When we entered we were mesmerized by the abundance of marble tables and clear glass bubbles hanging from the ceiling (and don't even get us started on the turquoise suede couch and ceiling to floor mirrors and windows!). Ch-eat & Drink is located in Daan District, just around the corner from Drunk Cafe (another favorite of ours and a must-visit in Taipei!), on the first floor of Hotel Poispois. The gorgeous interiors make for the perfect setup for a girl’s night out, a birthday party, or even a bridal shower or bachelorette party. They have an extensive menu, offering lunch, dinner and afternoon tea sets, as well as a range of alcoholic beverages.
Liesl and I opted for the "Menu for Two", which included three appetizers, a main, a dessert, and coffee or tea. We started off with two delicious salads and french fries, and followed with a very "cheesy" spaghetti. We chose a crepe with vanilla ice cream for dessert. If you’re planning a special event, or you’re just in the mood to treat yourself, head to Ch-eat & Drink and indulge in one of their delicious meal sets. They’re open daily until midnight, so after feasting on a delicious meal, you can enjoy their pretty pink cocktails while sitting on that pretty suede couch.
