Blink and you might just miss this cute and cozy cafe hidden in an alley close to Taipei's popular Yongkang street! 月半 Dwaco 咖啡 truly is a hidden gem, and a lovely spot for a relaxing coffee date or a quiet space to go and work. Once you step into the entrance to the cafe, you'll be greeted by quite the selection of plants and eclectic decor. There are two tables outside, which would be nice to sit at when the weather starts to cool down. Inside is plenty of comfy seating, and even though we didn't follow the stairs up to the second floor to inspect, I'm pretty sure they have more seating options upstairs. The atmosphere was laid-back and inviting, and the staff was very sweet and friendly.
月半 Dwaco 咖啡 offers a big selection of coffees including espresso, cappuccino, lattes and Americano. They also serve tea, chocolate milk and even beer. If you're feeling peckish, they have a simple sandwich, soup, yogurt and also desserts. When we visited, the desserts available were Brownies, Tiramisu and Lemon Cake. We decided to try the Lemon Cake and a Brownie, and we also ordered a Pineapple Soda and an iced Cafe Latte with cinnamon. Below you can see their full menu.

Our drinks and desserts were served quickly, and even though everything was delicious, we especially enjoyed the brownie! We were there on a Saturday afternoon, but it wasn't too busy and we think it's a great place to escape to from the bustling Yongkang and Dongment MRT areas. We would visit 月半 Dwaco 咖啡 again if we're in the neighborhood and in need of a caffeine kick!
