After a long and hot (and VERY humid!) morning in the streets of Taipei, discovering this gem was like a breath of fresh air. This tiny cafe with its minimal yet modern exterior, lured us in with the vintage bicycles parked outside, its quaint little patio and the cool breeze coming from the park across the road.
波浮 Habu Juice is located in Daan District close to Liuzhangli MRT Station, in a quiet alley (just around the corner from Santal 29) next to a park, adding to the tranquil atmosphere this cafe has to offer. The quiet and peaceful ambiance allows for a relaxing meal with a friend or even just some quality alone time, (and it's not packed with people like some other cafes in Taipei). Books and magazines fill up the shelves, giving you tons of entertainment if you plan on heading out to breakfast on your own.
With summer creeping up on us (did we even have spring this year?!), we were craving somethin’ cold, healthy and nutritious. Liesl opted for the delicious Fruit Yogurt and I had the Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese sandwich. The bread they use for all their sandwiches are from Purebread Bakery, so expect to be served with THE yummiest and freshest bread in Taipei. Along with our food, Liesl had Rooibos Tea (we South African girls love our Rooibos!), and I had the amazingly refreshing Habu 4 Cold Pressed Juice; a mix of grapefruit, pomegranate, watermelon, orange and guava (Just looking at it makes me drool!)

If you've been on the lookout for a spot to enjoy a healthy and nutritious meal in a quiet and relaxing cafe, 波浮 Habu Juice is the ideal place for you. The staff is friendly and the food is freshly made upon ordering. Afterwards you can enjoy a stroll through the park, explore the rest or this peaceful neighborhood and even pop into Santal 29 for a slice of their DELICIOUS red velvet cake.
