Hoo. Donut 呼點甜甜圈 | Taipei Cafe

For the past few weeks I've walked past this new doughnut shop in Zhongzheng District almost every day, and even though it called my name, I resisted the urge to go inside (how strong am I!?). That was until this past weekend when the craving for some afternoon sweets was just too overwhelming... Hoo. Donut 呼點甜甜圈 is the perfect cafe to go and hang out while enjoying some delicious treats, and it's barely a 5-minute walk from Guting MRT station's exit 7. It's almost always packed with people when I pass by (we were SUPER lucky on our visit!), but there are many seats available (tables and bar seating by the window), and you can also get your order to go and enjoy it at the nearby Nanchang Park 南昌公園. The interior is very simple and clean, and the staff is very calm, kind and welcoming.

Apart from their selection of delectable doughnuts, Hoo. Donut 呼點甜甜圈 also serves handmade ice cream (yum!), tea, coffee and fruit sparkling water. Even though I wanted to try ALL the doughnuts, we ended choosing Cranberry and Matcha doughnuts for our first visit (of many to come). We also got an iced Latte and a freshly made Raspberry Sparkling Water.

We also met this little fella, named Lucky.

The doughnuts (which, by the way, we think is very affordable) were delicious! It's not too sickly sweet like many other doughnut shops, and it's very fresh and flavorful. I was also pleasantly surprised by how perfect the iced latte was. The raspberry sparkling water was freshly made and presented beautifully. We are so happy to have this cute little doughnut shop in our neighborhood, although I know my waistline will probably suffer... We are definitely going back to try more doughnut flavors, and that handmade ice cream is calling my name!
