JB's Diner has been on our radar for years, and we finally made the trek up to Shilin District recently to get our brunch on at this well-known restaurant in Tianmu. They serve diner classics like pancakes, sandwiches, milkshakes, pasta and burgers in a beautifully designed space; right up our alley! The interior design is absolutely gorgeous, with lots of plants, wooden accents and rattan pieces. Beautiful natural light floods in from the big windows, and there are plenty of seating options, spread out over the first and second floors.
JB's Diner has one of those menus that can be so overwhelming because of its huge variety. It's better to kind of have an idea of what you're in the mood for before you look at it; you will want to try everything! We already knew we wanted some of their breakfast dishes, so I got the stack of Blueberry Pancakes and Tieneke got the Classic 2-Egg Breakfast with a side of avocado. With that Tieneke ordered an iced latte and I got one of their a fresh juices. Below you can see their extensive menu.

I loved my order of blueberry pancakes! It was not too sweet and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. The order is quite big though, I could only manage about half of it. Even after Tieneke had some, too, we still couldn't finish it. I also really enjoyed my fresh juice. We think JB's Diner is a nice spot for brunch (if you're in the neighborhood), and would be a good place for a meal with a group whom are craving different things and you want to please everybody.
