Popular Taipei sandwich shop, Liquid Bread Co., opened a second location! *cue the cheers!* Their latest space, called LBC 安東店, is a convenient 2-minute walk from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station's exit 1, but still off the main road, and overlooks a pretty park. Just like its predecessor, it's adorned with wall art and has that same industrial decor vibe, and it offers plenty of shared cafeteria-style and bar seating options.
LBC 安東店 offers the exact same menu as their big brother, but the friendly staff did share with me that they have some new items over at the first location, including a Reuben sandwich, which literally made me salivate as she showed me a picture. I opted for their juicy Pastrami sandwich, and The Husband got the mouth-watering Tuna Melt. We also browsed their selection of side dishes over in the refrigerator, and ended up sharing a serving of the Egg Salad. To wash it all down, we shared a bottle of refreshing Sparkling Water. Liquid Bread Co. has never disappointed us; they use only quality products and ingredients and it's always fresh and delicious! We knew we'd also like LBC 安東店, and this location is actually more convenient for us, so we'll be able to visit it more often. We can't recommend them enough, as their sandwiches always manage to hit the spot. Have you been to both locations? Which one do you prefer?
