In my opinion, Little Creatures is one of the best new hangouts to have opened their doors in Taipei in the past few months! They have that perfect restaurant and bar balance, offering a wide range of alcoholic beverages (and non-alcoholic) and surprisingly good food, too. In the evenings, the vibe is lively (but still appropriate for family dinners!) and you can enjoy a range of western comfort foods while trying out their selection of craft beers. On top of this, they also serve a mean brunch, and offer daily "Happy Hour" deals.
Little Creatures is located in Taipei's Daan District near Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station. The space itself is beautifully designed and decorated, with high ceilings, a photogenic bar, and plenty of comfortable seating options. (Perfect for bigger groups, too!). The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are happy to take your reservation, which is necessary if you're planning on going there in the evening over the weekend.
I initially thought Little Creatures was all about the drinks, specifically beer, but I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of meals they offer; including pizza, sliders, ribs, fish, salads, pasta, and dessert! And this is only their lunch and dinner menu. For brunch they offer smoothie bowls, toast, bacon and eggs, "brekkie sliders" and much more. For drinks you can choose from a wide selection of coffees, tea, and sparkling drinks. They have a selection of alcoholic beverages on their breakfast menu, too, so if you want to get the party started before noon, this is the place to go!
Tieneke and I popped in for brunch recently; she ordered the Smashed Avo on Toast and Lemon Juice. I opted for the Little Big Brekkie, which comes with avocado, eggs, mushrooms, roasted tomato, Halloumi and chorizo. For a drink, I had the hot Latte. We also grabbed two Chocolate and Coffee Muffins on our way out, which was freshly baked. You can see their brunch, lunch and dinner menus, their "Bar Bites" options and their Happy Hour deals below.

I've been to Little Creatures twice in the past couple of weeks, and I can honestly say that it's one of my personal favorite new spots in Taipei. It's perfect for a comfy and delicious brunch, and also a great place to go hang out with a group of friends for dinner and drinks. We highly recommend it!
