We recently visited Boracay, the famous white-sand island in the Philippines, and when we weren’t spending our days lounging under palm trees or swimming in the crystal clear waters, we were sipping on lattes and exploring the island’s cafe and restaurant scene. A good friend of ours (and foodie by heart!) highly recommended Little Wave for their next-level lattes and food, and also their stunning Insta-worthy interiors. Located in Station X, the newest hub for foodies in Boracay, sits this beautiful little cafe, on the main road and corner of Hue Hotels & Resorts.
Little Wave has a gorgeous industrial chic style that is created by a combination of modern elements such as rose gold chairs, wooden tables, geometric patterns and pops of mint green. To add to the industrial design, hanging light bulbs decorate the exposed ceiling, and with a modern design open kitchen in view to all, customers can satisfy their curiosity and find out what’s cooking. They serve hand-made pasta, all-day breakfast, sandwiches and wraps, a variety of delectable desserts, specialty coffee, and many more.

We treated ourselves to a table filled with breakfast goodies and sweet treats, and also, some of the BEST lattes I’ve had in my life (Just thinking of it makes me drool!) With such an interesting menu it was quite hard to choose, but I ended up getting the Shimeji Scrambled Toast, which was a large portion of tasty scrambled eggs and Shimeji mushrooms served on freshly baked sourdough bread, and some pesto sauce on the side (It was DELICIOUS). The Husband ordered their Classic Breakfast which was also served with sourdough bread, mushrooms, char-grilled tomato and thick crispy bacon rubbed with coffee, packed with flavour. For dessert, we had the Birthday Rainbow Cake (aka the cake of my dreams!), and also, their famous and totally hype-worthy, Salted Cream Ice Latte.

Little Wave is a must-visit when in Boracay, and it’s honestly one of the best meals we had on the island. (It's one of the prettiest cafes, too!). For more ideas of where to eat, stay tuned for a complete travel guide of Boracay, coming to the blog soon.
