Just when we think we've been to all the brunch spots Taipei has to offer, we stumble upon a brand new place that totally blows us away! We recently went for breakfast at MukoBrunch, which is located in Taipei's Daan District, and a short stroll from Dongmen MRT. The exterior walls and beautiful interior details were what originally caught our attention, but we knew we had to go try it out as soon as we saw their mouthwatering brunch options on Instagram. Check out the bright and spacious interiors, and the lovely little decorative details that can be found all over the restaurant.
We easily made a reservation earlier in the week, and were delighted to be seated at a comfy couch and table by the window. This place has no shortage of beautiful natural light streaming in through the semi-sheer curtains, and there are plenty of seating and Instagram-worthy corners. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made a lot of effort translating some menu items for us. Now, let's have a look at the drool-worthy dishes that this place has to offer.

Tieneke ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict, which is served with a generous side salad. She also got her usual favorite, a Hazelnut Latte. I was originally eyeing the Avocado on Sourdough Toast, but unfortunately it wasn't available that day. I instead opted for the French Toast with cream, which is served with seasonal fruit. Our friend Melina, who is currently visiting in Taipei from Sweden, joined us for brunch and also ordered the French Toast, but with ice cream. We both got Cafe Lattes, too.
We were impressed by how swiftly our meals were served, and had to "ooh and ahhh" at the sight of our adorable latte art. The food portions are quite generous, and I must say that I really enjoyed my French Toast order, and the latte was delicious. Tieneke and Melina enjoyed their meals, too, and we especially loved the pretty setting of our meals and the overall casual vibe of the place. It's the perfect spot for an Instagram-worthy brunch with the gals, we highly recommend it!
