Another day, another lovely coffee shop session in Taipei! We've been wanting to go to Nu Studio for a while, and recently popped over there for a relaxing coffee date and some dessert. Nu Studio is in Xinyi District and not too far from the Songshan MRT station, and is kind of hidden in a small alley among residential buildings. Upstairs from the cafe is Nuhi clothing showroom (they sell mostly online though), but we didn't venture up there this time.

The cafe isn't that big, with a few seats along the wall as you enter and where you order, and a second room to the back with three tables. They definitely had the Instagram crowd in mind when designing the space, as the lighting is great for taking pictures and there are lots of little photogenic details, unique furniture pieces, and bare white backdrops.
Nu Studio offers a simple menu with a few cake options and coffee. We both got the "Coffee Latte" and for dessert we ordered the "Roasted Tea Cheesecake" and "Chocolate Pound Cake". Below you can see their full menu.

Nu Studio is really great if you also enjoy taking photos, as they offer plenty of pretty and clean corners and backdrops. The exterior is also set up perfectly for a casual photo shoot, with the cafe's name and a convenient bench on one of the outside walls. The coffee was delicious, the vibe was laid back, and we recommend it for a lazy afternoon caffeine fix hangout.
