Attention all burger lovers! There’s a hip burger joint in town that’s calling your name, and we’ve got the scoop. TakeOut Burger & Cafe is located on Tonghua Road in Daan District (Just down the road from popular Italian restaurant and bar, FO.CO.SO) and as the name suggests, a cafe and also a takeout joint. A small patio outside offers a few outdoor seats where you can admire the buzzing neighborhood, and also a window where you can get your hamburger to go (At a 30nt discount!). Whether you choose to dine outdoors or inside, you’ll be served with some of the juiciest burgers in town.
Their menu is full of unique burger creations and have over 15 options to choose from, including quirky pairings such as Peanut Butter and Cheese, Salsa Fried Chicken, Truffle Beef, and MORE! The hamburgers are served without fries, but a list of combos are available to choose from and an assortment of snacks and drinks can be added to your burger for under 120nt. They also have a list of tasty comfort food (Not the healthy kind!) like fried calamari, chicken wings, fried mozzarella, and more!

I had the Avocado Beef Burger and topped it up with one of their combo options, a salad and iced tea. The hamburger was stacked with toppings and towered over the plate, it had a juicy and flavorful patty, and a decent amount of avocado. The salad that was served with the hamburger was mostly iceberg lettuce, but was dressed with a tasty dressing which made up for the lack in toppings. Liesl opted for the Vegetarian Burger which was surprisingly served with a hashbrown patty, and not one made from beans, as vegetarian patties usually are.
