The popular Yong Kang Street, and its adjacent neighborhoods, definitely have no shortage of amazing restaurants, cute cafes and food stalls; that's why we knew this area would be a safe bet to find a breakfast spot when we recently found ourselves hangry and hot after enjoying a (very) sunny morning in Daan Park. We stumbled on this unassuming cafe in one of the more quiet alleys a few minutes' walk from the bustling Yong Kang Street, and were lured inside by the prospects of refreshing iced tea and the traditional English breakfast that they serve there.
It's not that apparent from the outside, but the place is actually very spacious; at the entrance there is a lovely sun room, and then you go up some stairs into the main part of the restaurant, which boasts plenty of seating options (for individual patrons or small groups). There is also a patio at the back with tables and chairs, set in a pretty, green garden.
The space is bright, quiet and beautifully decorated. The large windows and white walls contributes to the tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, which also makes this cafe a good place to go and do some work, read a book, or find some peace and quiet in the middle of the city. There's a large bookcase where you are welcome to borrow a book, and a table full of magazines to choose from. The cafe also offers free WiFi and plenty of outlets for those bringing their laptops.
As I mentioned before, we were ravenous by the time we got to this cafe, and both decided on the full English breakfast. It was an especially hot spring day, so we also ordered iced teas. I got the honey scented black tea and Tieneke the grapefruit and jasmine specialty. Our meals were served swiftly, and the staff was extremely friendly. The waitress even took some photos of us. (Now THAT'S what I call good service!) Our meals were hearty, consisting of two eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, sausage, baked beans and two slices of toast. It really was delicious, and definitely hit the spot!
Who's Cafe has quite the selection of different teas, coffees and juices. On top of that, they also serve beer and wine. They serve a selection of mostly light meals like sandwiches and salads, and even Hungarian beef goulash and chicken curry with vegetables. Here you can see the full menu.

This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we enjoyed our relaxing breakfast. This is the perfect spot to get away from the busier streets in the area. Go and relax with some friends and order a light meal and drink, or go find some peace and quiet and get some work done in this serene cafe.
