Fujin Tree Cafe 353 I Taipei Cafe

Liesl and I recently revisited one of our all-time favorite cafes in the city; a well-known spot among caffeine addicts in Taipei, known for its amazingly delicious lattes and desserts, and also for their premium location. This it-cafe is located on the beautiful Fujin street in Songshan District (a MUST-visit when you're in Taipei) that's lined with cafes, boutiques and lush green trees. And as a new mama (and mama-to-be!) we love this area for taking the little ones for a daytime stroll, and while we're there, doing some shopping at one of our favorite baby stores in Taipei, Dou Dou (Conveniently located right across the street from Fujin Tree!)

What we love most about this cafe is the serene outdoor seating they offer, as there's nothing quite as relaxing as enjoying a cuppa joe outside while admiring a beautiful street view. They offer plenty of seating inside as well, and the gorgeous interiors create the perfect set up for a morning (or afternoon) latte and dessert.

Their menu is filled with house brew coffees, espresso, toasties and salads, and also desserts. Liesl enjoyed a regular latte, and I ordered their famous Brown Sugar Latte, which is GINORMOUS and absolutely delicious. To satisfy our sweet tooth we had a Caramel Custard Pudding and Basque Cheese Cake to share; both were delicious but the pudding was clearly the winner as it's reminiscent of one of our favorite South African desserts.
