Herbivore 復興店 | Taipei Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant

A while ago we shared the fantastic vegan and vegetarian restaurant, Herbivore Vegan 料理, with you guys; it's one of our favorite spots for healthy and fresh plant-based meals in Taipei. Our only criticism of it is that it's located in the middle of a department store, which we don't like (it just feels too impersonal and like you're "on display" while eating.) But, did you know that they have another location close to Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station? We had no idea, and just randomly stumbled across it one day while in the area.
Herbivore 復興店 is about a 5-minute walk from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT exit 5, and is located on a quiet alley. The restaurant and interior decoration is simple and clean, and offers plenty of seating options (also good for a bigger group!). We like this location SOOO much better than Herbivore Vegan 料理, located in Xinyi District, and highly recommend it for a quick and healthy lunch, or even a nice dinner date. (Yes, they have wine on the menu!).
The menu is incredible, and they offer a few specialty dishes that's not available at Herbivore Vegan 料理. It's hard to choose from all the mouthwatering options (the beautiful photography of the dishes displayed on the menu really makes it so tough!) and we always end up ordering too much. We highly recommend Herbivore 復興店 if you're craving a nutritious, tasty and unique meal! The location is so convenient, the portions are HUGE, and it's truly delicious!
