Drumroll, please… Le Labo just opened their first ever boutique in Taiwan (Uhm... take my money!) When Liesl and I first heard the news we could hardly believe it and literally jumped for joy. The cult fragrance house from New York is finally in Taipei!
Their newly opened boutique in Xinyi District is stunning and very similar to their flagship store in New York City, with the same industrial charm and antique-looking interiors. It is located close to Taipei City Hall MRT Station and right across Songshan Cultural park, where you could take a leisurely stroll after satisfying (all!) your senses with the delicious smells and eye candy Le Labo has to offer.

Le Labo has become quite famous for its subtle yet striking scents, their minimal packaging, and names that consists of a name and number that stands for the quantity of notes in composing each scent. One of their most popular and iconic fragrances is Santal 33, a smoky scent that is beloved by both men and women all over the world. All Le Labo’s scents are unisex, so you and your man could even get a bottle to share!

Le Labo offers everything from fine fragrances, such as perfumes and candles, to body, hair and skincare products. They have a grooming set for men that smells Ah-MAZING (Trust me, you’d want to use some yourself!) The friendly salesman, David, who we know from our shopping sprees at 10/10 Apothecary (Another fragrance store in Taipei we love; read more here!) was very helpful and let us try and smell all their lotions and potions. He is very passionate about his job, and always takes his time to show us the newest products in store.

Le Labo is a must visit when you’re in Taipei, not only for their to-die-for fragrances, but also the gorgeous interiors and friendly service. Their hand-crafted scents are the perfect gift for that special person in your life, and with Valentine’s Day that is basically around the corner, what are you waiting for?!
