If you appreciate all things vintage and rustic, then you should definitely get yourself to delicate antique. We recently discovered this curated antique shop, located only a stone's throw from Liuzhangli MRT station in Taipei's Daan District, and consider it worth a visit if you are an antique furniture collector or just have a passion for browsing interesting vintage homeware and accessories.
The building which houses delicate antique perfectly compliments the shop and its treasures. You can see that they've revamped the old space, but kept that rustic aesthetic and vintage feel. The shop is absolutely breathtaking, with bright white walls and high ceilings with wooden beams. It's not very big, but they have made perfect use of the space available and have displayed everything so that it's easily accessible to customers.
On our visit, the friendly (and informative) staff served us some tea, which we could enjoy while browsing. We took our time looking around, and enjoyed discovering the interesting collections of vintage homeware and accessories, which are mostly from Europe and Japan. Down below, have a look at some of the interesting pieces on display, which are also for sale.
Even though we didn't purchase anything this time, this shop is definitely going on our list of places to go when we're searching for a very special and unique gift for a fellow vintage-lover. We highly recommend popping into this unique store, and having a look around the space at their beautiful collection of antique finds, who knows what treasures you might discover.
