I can't believe our little Sebastian is already 3 MONTHS OLD! Time has literally flown by, and now I get why ALL parents say, "they grow up so fast!". These past 3 months has been so wonderful AND nerve-wrecking at the same time, especially being a first time mom during these crazy and isolated times we're in. But we've made it this far, and wouldn't have been able to do it without these MUST-HAVE baby products that's totally made juggling the newborn stage so much easier.

I've rounded up my top newborn essentials for you, our favorite baby products that I highly recommend to all mama's out there. Scroll down and have a look, and see why I've added each of these to my list.
Breathing Monitor: SNUZA HERO

If you’re an anxious new mama who needs extra reassurance that your baby is safe asleep while you're snoozing away, the Snuza Hero is for you. It’s a wearable breathing monitor that attaches to your baby’s diaper, free of any wires that works with batteries only, making it ideal for road trips in the car seat as well.
Lounging Pad: SNUGGLEME ORGANIC

The SnuggleMe Organic is one of my top baby must-haves, and I think Sebastian will agree! It is designed to have a hugging effect that is super comforting and calming, helping to extend those wanted naps. My baby’s been taking his daytime naps in his SnuggleMe since we came home from the hospital, and it’s been super convenient having him with me in the living room on the couch, without having to worry that he might roll off. It’s also a great photo op for taking adorable pics of your little one.
Playmat: LOVEVERY PLAYMAT

This amazing playmat has been such a big part of our baby’s development, and we’ve been using it every single day. Designed by child development experts to “grow” with your baby, it teaches them to grasp, bat, focus, play and roll, and you even get weekly emails to give you playmat activity ideas according to your baby’s age. It also comes with a cover that turns this activity mat into a tent for some extra fun.
Knot Tie Sleep Gown: SOLLY BABY SLEEP GOWN

These sleep gowns were a lifesaver during the first 2 months, when diaper changes literally happened around the clock. Instead of struggling with buttons or zips in the wee hours of the night, you just untie the knot and easily change your baby’s diaper. Did I mention how incredibly soft and cozy these sleep gowns are? They're ideal for a newborn’s delicate skin, and even have fold over mittens that’s necessary to prevent babies from scratching themselves.

Bouncing Chair: BABYBJORN BOUNCER

This is one of my absolute favorite baby products and I can't imagine not having it in our home. Our baby started enjoying this chair early on as he enjoys sitting upright to observe what's happening around him. The chair bounces with your baby's movement and kicks, and can also be used for story time and other fun activities.
Carrier: ARTIPOPPE CARRIER

A carrier is a must-have and something you can even wear around the house when things need to get done. I’ve been using this carrier daily to take my baby out for walks, and it’s also been a great way to get him to sleep on those days he just refuses to. I LOVE the beautiful designs by Artipoppe (it's not an eye-sore like some other carriers), the quality is amazing and it's super comfy for me and baby.

Stroller-Carseat Combo: DOONA CARSEAT STROLLER

If you live in the city and mostly get around by Uber and taxi, don’t look any further than the Doona Carseat Stroller. It conveniently folds up into a car seat, and can be put into a car without a base, so you can just get in and go without having to worry about carrying any extra stroller parts with you. It's been extremely convenient for us living in Taipei, and its compact size makes it easy to move around in the city.
Ointment: TUBBY TODD ALL OVER OINTMENT

Babies’ skin are extremely sensitive and a rash is inevitable, especially if you live in a hot and humid climate such as Taiwan. This holy grail ointment is the only cream you need, and it clears dry patches, acne and rashes right up! Just go ahead and order this in the jumbo size. You can thank me later!

Bathtub: SHNUGGLE BATHTUB

One of the things I was most nervous about when coming home from the hospital, was giving our tiny newborn baby a bath. Luckily one of our friends, and fellow mama, gifted us with this amazing bathtub that’s designed to let your baby sit upright so you don’t need to hold them while giving them a bath. Bath time in the Shnuggle is a breeze and our little one LOVES sitting up and splashing the water with his hands and feet.
Nasal Aspirator: NOSEFRIDA SNOTSUCKER

Sucking snot doesn't exactly sound like fun, I know! But if you have the right tools it's really not as bad as it sounds, and this snot sucker by NoseFrida will get the job done in a second and help you clean your baby's nose like a pro.
Sleep Basket: KIIN MOSES BASKET

If you want your baby to co-sleep with you, but not have him/her IN your bed, this Moses basket and stand is ideal! It’s the same height as our bed so I could easily lift my baby in and out of the basket without having to get out of bed for nighttime feeds, and we could also easily move it to the living room for daytime naps. It's also the perfect size for a tiny newborn and will make them feel safe and sound.

Swaddle: LOVE TO DREAM SWADDLE UP

Swaddling a baby is a must, not only do they feel safe and comforted when alone in their bed, but it keeps them from waking themselves due to startle reflex. The Love To Dream Swaddle Up is designed to mimic babies' natural arms-up sleep position, and the dual-zipper allows for easy diaper changes and won't wake baby like velcro swaddles do.
Diaper Bag Organizer: TOTESAVVY ORGANIZER

No need to invest in a diaper bag if you get yourself one of these organizers, ideal for baby’s things, that will convert your favorite bag into an organized diaper bag. It has more than enough space and pockets for all your babies' outing essentials, and even has a changing mat attached to it for diaper changes on the go.
Breast Pump: HAAKAA MANUAL BREAST PUMP

If you’re planning on breastfeeding, a Haakaa Manual Breast Pump is a MUST. I didn’t know this before, but when babies drink on the one side, milk comes out of the other breast as well, and by using a Haakaa you can catch all the let down and not have it go to waste. I’ve built up quite the freezer stash in 3 months by using the Haakaa only, which is also way more affordable than an actual breast pump.
Video Monitor: LOLLIPOP BABY MONITOR

This adorable monitor not only looks cute in the nursery, but is one of the smartest monitors you can find. It connects with your phone or tablet and will give you a live feed of what your baby is up to, send alerts if crying is detected and also track baby's movement. The infrared night vision function also allows you to get a clear picture of your baby on your phone when napping in a pitch dark room.
Cover: COPPER PEARL MULTI-USE COVER

This multi-use cover can be used as a cover-up when breastfeeding in public, or as a cover for baby's' car seat. It helps to protect from wind, the sun or germs, and I found it especially helpful on trips to the hospital for our baby’s checkups, to keep him covered and also help to prevent strangers from touching him.
Diaper Cream: EARTH MAMA DIAPER BALM

Thanks to this miracle balm our baby not once has even had a hint of a diaper rash. We apply it at each diaper change, and one of these 60ml pots has lasted us 3 months already! Stock up on these and keep those cute bums happy and healthy.
