the TOWN CRIER

Another general store that I was super excited to find in Taipei is The Town Crier. Located in Daan District on the first floor of a residential building, is this little treasure cove offering a curated collection of decorative home goods, gardening supplies and other lifestyle products. They carry a variety of items from elusive and hard-to-find brands in Taipei, and that is how I originally discovered them two years ago. I was searching high and low for L:A Bruket skincare products and finally stumbled on this, then recently opened, quirky spot.

The Town Crier is one of those stores that's perfect for browsing and discovering new and interesting products you didn't know you needed. (Right up my alley!) It helps that Luke is super helpful and friendly, and also very knowledgeable about all the products and the brands they have carefully chosen to sell in their shop. So, not only did I finally get my hands on the L:A Bruket products I was searching for, but I was also introduced to Marvis toothpaste and The Laundress products, which I've been using ever since.
