Being only allowed one coffee a day during pregnancy, I really treasure my one cuppa in the morning; and it better be a damn good one after a night of restless sleep. We recently strolled past this cute coffee-to-go spot in Taipei's Zhongzheng District, and after reading some reviews I decided to give them a go for my one allowed (and valued) cup of coffee that day.
Even though this coffee shop isn't too far from my house, we rarely venture that way, and I'm not familiar with this area at all. I do like the wider sidewalks (perfect for my waddling self and pregnant belly), and it's a pleasant 20-minute walk from Guting MRT Station area. (Although the actual nearest MRT is Xiaonanmen Station.)
The coffee shop has a few seating options on the sidewalk, and also three bar stools. Even though you're sitting on the sidewalk, the traffic wasn't too busy on a Saturday morning and we were never bothered by any noise from cars and scooters. We noticed most people get their coffee-to-go, but we decided to stick around as the weather had been so nice, and we rarely pass up a chance to sit outside when we have that option.
Below you can see their full menu. They have plenty of caffeine options and also flavored teas and milk. For a snack, there are a few light bites available and also a couple of desserts. I got the Salted Caramel Latte and The Husband tried their No Caffeine Flower Fruit Tea. Baby Girl and I shared the Lemon Tart dessert, which was their "Special Dessert" of the day.

We had a pleasant morning having our drinks and dessert at Wings Coffee Bar. We loved that we could sit outside under the trees and enjoy the lovely, cool weather. The barista was sweet and friendly and our order was ready under ten minutes. Was my highly valued cup of coffee for the day satisfactory? TOTALLY! It was delicious and I want to go back and try more of their latte flavors. Their prices are really, really good, too! The location might be inconvenient for most, but if you're in the area it's totally worth stopping by for your caffeine fix!
