Taipei’s cafe scene has been going wild these past few years, with gorgeous cafes popping up on every corner, keeping us spoiled for choice and our weekends filled with delicious food and desserts. We seem to discover a new spot for brunch every week, whether it’s on Instagram or just from wandering through the streets of Taipei. The latest gem we stumbled upon was literally a mind-blower, and for a second there I thought I was in Paris, didn’t you?!
élément is reminiscent of a Parisian sidewalk cafe, with its red canopy and tiny tables on the pavement, and its glamorous interior and gray walls. It is conveniently located on a quiet street in Daan District, away from the hustle and the bustle of the city, giving you the opportunity to sit back and relax while sipping on champagne and indulging in their mouthwatering cuisines. They also have a dining section upstairs, which is more private and intimate, the perfect spot for a candlelight dinner with your other half.

Being the champagne lovers that Liesl and I are, we were super excited to find Mimosas on their beautifully designed menus, and immediately ordered us each a glass. To add to our champagne breakfast, we opted for the french toast and the “Castrofilippo breakfast”, which complimented it perfectly and added a little somethin’ sweet.

If you've been on the lookout for a new cafe to try, or had a unique date night with a loved one in mind, élement is the place to go. With their excellent service, gorgeous interior, Parisian atmosphere AND delicious mimosas, what's not to love?!
