Lof'it 日青工寓 | Taitung B&B | A Style Alike

When searching for a place to stay in Taitung recently, I immediately fell in love with Lof'it 日青工寓, a clean and modern bed and breakfast located in the northern part of Taitung City. I'm such a sucker for a bright, white and minimalist space, and after reading rave reviews online and seeing more photos of this beautiful place, we reserved a room for two nights immediately.

FACILITIES & SPACES

Lof'it 日青工寓 has a spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area on the first floor. Natural light flows in through the huge wrap-around windows, making it such a serene and lovely space. The communal kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to whip up a quick snack, and in the morning they serve a simple breakfast of toast (from a local bakery) with a huge selection of spreads, jams and also cheese. Don't miss out on their made-with-love lattes and cappuccinos in the morning, and for non-coffee drinkers you can also have tea.

There are a few parking spots available on the property, and if they're all occupied, you can park at a nearby parking lot. Keep in mind that they don't have an elevator, so when you book a room make sure you know on which floor it is. There's also a big table and seats outside on the patio where you can relax.

ROOMS

Lof'it 日青工寓 offers 9 rooms, with prices ranging from around 1800nt to 3600nt per room. We booked a Double Room with Balcony, located on the third floor; it's quite spacious and has a private bathroom and a small balcony. The minimalist style continues in the rooms, which gives it a very relaxing feel. The bed is humongous (most likely King Size) and the sheets are soft, clean and cozy. The decor is simple and thoughtful, and the big window lets in a lot of natural light. (Don't worry, if you're thinking of sleeping in, they do have blackout curtains!). The room is also equipped with a hairdryer, shower amenities, a TV, free WiFi and an air conditioner.
