The Most Instagrammable Spots in Santorini l Greece l A Style Alike

If you're planning on visiting Greece and hoping to take tons of Instagrammable pictures, Santorini is definitely the island to go to. Every corner is as breathtakingly beautiful as the last, and it's as dreamy as it looks on all the pictures you see online. From the iconic white-washed buildings to the insanely beautiful views, it's a photographer's dream!

After spending 5 days on this beautiful island and exploring every magical corner, I rounded up the 10 most Instagrammable spots that you absoulutely MUST see, also providing directions below that will help you to find each spot easily. So scroll down, take your camera out and start snapping away!

Santorini's famous blue domes are a must-see, and although they're visible from just about any spot on the island, there's a certain viewpoint where you can see all three, that's also the famous view of Santorini you see on all the postcards.

Another one of Santorini's famous spots (and the most Instaworthy in my opinion) is Oia's photogenic pink Kastro Houses, which is actually a hotel but has become one of THE backdrops for Santorini photography.

3. Oia's Windmills

Luckily for you the picturesque windmills of Oia can be seen from just about anywhere on the caldera side of the island, so taking a leisurely stroll will give you tons of photo opportunities.

The perfect spot to cool down after a day of exploring Oia and the cutest little gelato shop I've ever seen, Lolita's Gelato. The pink wall is the perfect backdrop for an ice cream selfie, and with flavors such as mango and rose, I can't see a reason NOT to go.

5. Amoudi Bay

Amoudi Bay lies at the foot of Oia and is truly one of the most breathtaking sites in Santorini! Lined with local tavernas sitting right next to the waves and with a backdrop of striking red cliffs, it's also home to the famous cliff-jumping spot as seen on the movie "Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants".

6. Demilmar at Perissa Beach

When visiting Santorini, spending a day at its black sand beach, Perissa, is a must! Grab a beach chair at the Demilmar restaurant, at the left side of the beach at the foot of Mesa Vouno Mountain. The backdrop of the mountain, the white beach chairs covered in tiki umbrellas, and the clear blue seas is an Instagrammer's dream!

7. Atlantis Books

This adorable book store in Oia is a must-see, and one of the most charming bookstores I've ever been to. Not only can you take great pics here, but you can also grab a unique souvenir or gift.

8. Kastro Restaurant

Watching the sunset in Oia should be on your bucket list, and the restaurant with the best view (and the most gramworthy!) is Kastro, a gorgeous pink Greek-style restaurant serving traditional Greek dishes.

9. Vitrin Cafe & Creperie

Another pink spot with amazing views and mouthwatering treats is Vitrin Cafe & Creperie. They serve the BEST crepes and frappes in town.

10. Red Beach

A beach made up of volcanic rocks, surrounded by mesmerizing red hills; what's not to love? It's the perfect backdrop for a one-of-a-kind selfie and a great spot to work on your vacation tan. If you'd like to admire this breathtaking beach from the waters, go on a sailing cruise like we did (I recommend Spiridakos Sailing Cruises)

I hope you enjoyed my post! If there are any other Instagrammable spots you recommend seeing, comment below and tell us. For more Greece travel inspiration, have a look at my complete travel guides to Santorini, Milos and Mykonos, or get some Greece outfit ideas here.
